Las Vegas is a miracle. I always want to have Vegas Tours to touch the essence of this city. The city seems to have no nights. When it turns dark, bright lights are lighting everywhere. Gambling and tourism become its pillar industries. Foreigners must come to visit Vegas, because they think it is the essence of the whole country. The nickname, Sin City, fully shows off its character.
As it was dark outside my car, I suddenly surprised by the scenery in front of my eyes after I drove through the barren land. A resplendent and magnificent city appeared on the horizon. This is Las Vegas, an incredible city raised from the desert. May be it the most interesting city all over the world. This desolate place now is a world-famous scenic spot. Here you can find the world's most famous hotels, restaurants, shops, and unique performances. More than 40 million visitors will come to visit this city every year, and 75% of them come here more than one time. 17 of World's top 20 super hotels set up their hotels in Las Vegas. You can go shopping or eat delicious food at any time, as all shops open for 24 hours a day. People come here to enjoy themselves. It is worthy the name of sleepless city.
The city got its name Las Vegas (The Meadows) by some Spanish traders in 1830. It used to be a piece of green land on the way to California, surrounded by endless desert. The green land was fed by springs, three miles away from today's city. Though the spring dried up in 1962, it was built as a new scenic spot, Springs Preserve. It is made up by many gardens, trails and unique landscapes in Las Vegas. The city which was built in 1905 quickly developed into an enjoyable palace due to Pacific railway at the beginning of the 20th century. It was defined as an entertainment capital, so there were luxurious resorts and world-class large performance and high-tech entertainment facilities.
I became interested in this city because of ocean's eleven film series, including "ocean's twelve" and "ocean's thirteen". Films were shot in Las Vegas, so people can have intuitive understanding of Las Vegas. The film talked about a super thief named Danny (George Clooney) calls on 11 master-hands for an earthshaking action. They planned to rap 1 billion and 150 million dollars from 3 casinos. And I think Brad Pitt is very handsome.
