Discount Golf in Las Vegas

Not all people going to Las Vegas do that for enjoying the casinos and nightlife there. The region offers an array of unique and wide-ranging golf courses that a golf enthusiast finds irresistible. In fact, there is a new trend in tourism industry called golf vacation, which allows the travelers to enjoy the excellent atmosphere of a golf course and have entertainment by playing a round of golf. The most distinct feature of golf courses in the region is that there is a golf course for each geographical terrain: golf courses containing waterfalls, courses set in mountains and creeks, and courses set in deserts. One common aspect of all these are the picture postcard greenery. Most of these golf courses are owned by companies running hotels and casinos there. Some of the courses, like Shadow Creek, are the exclusive domain of the guests of the hotels. Some golf courses can be highly expensive. But there are a sufficient number of inexpensive golf courses also in Las Vegas.

Some of the hotels that host the golf courses accept discount cards. One can get the discount card from various websites for free. There are some websites that provide such cards for a small charge. These are beneficial even with this charge. These are also available with leading travel magazines. When availing discount cards, one should check whether it can be utilized on all days. Some hotels do not accept such cards on weekends.

Badlands is a very popular golf course in the region. Its tariff starts from a modest $70, which is partly the reason for its immense popularity. It is a nine-hole course and is a desert course. It is situated outside the Strip, which is the name given for the heart of the city. Rio Secco Golf Club is a prominent public golf club of the region. This is where Butch Harmon School of Golf is situated. If you are wondering about the significance of that fact, well, it is where a certain Tiger Woods learnt to play the game. The golf course contains waterfalls and dessert-like terrain. The rates are also comparatively modest. Red Rock Canyon may well be the most picturesque of the affordable golf courses in the region. It is also a public golf course. Bear's Best is another public golf course that offers some of the features of the more famous golf courses across the world for a reasonable rate. Paiute is the latest golf course in the region and, thankfully, the rates are low. It is also the biggest course in the region. Revere and the Falls are two golf courses in the area that do not charge a fortune for playing a few rounds of golf there.
