Planning my wedding in Las Vegas

I am not the typical bride, her eyes sparkling, the dream of a big wedding glamor. Parties are not my thing and the crowds ogle Freak Me Out I have no problem with the traditional dream weddings, but not in the cards for me. Vegas is more my style. And a wedding in Las Vegas is what my husband and I had.

We are not alone. Clark County, Nevada has issued more than 100,000 marriage licenses a year since 1995, earning a reputation as the capital city of marriageWorld. You can easily plan any size wedding in Las Vegas happen. The consequence here is my list of tips to help your dream version of a Las Vegas wedding

The ceremony.

Whatever your dream, you are likely to be found in Las Vegas. The options range from a meager $ 50 civil ceremony at the court a $ 19,000 + elegant ceremony at the Wynn (no reception). If you have a themed wedding, Elvis, Captain Kirk, Liberace, JamesBond, and others are eager to please. Always dreamed of a wedding Gothic or Egyptian? You've covered in Las Vegas.

The Marriage License.

Nevada requires no blood tests or waiting periods. A marriage certificate, you must present sufficient documentation, documents, and pay at the marriage license bureau. When Tim and I were married, had no official ID required. From 1 January 2008, however, you need an officialIdentification (driver's license, passport, etc.) to prove that you are. The Clark County, Nevada official site contains all the details (co.clark.nv.us).

Bands are divided into two categories: stand-alone chapels and hotels. To narrow your options, start searching the database visitlasvegas chapel or request an information packet for visitors that includes a wedding brochure. Then visit the website of each band, where most are pictures and details of the package. If cost is a problem, consider a day of the weekCeremony, which is generally less expensive than weekends.

The reception.

Many hotels in Las Vegas wedding chapels house and the reception site and catering on-premises, making it easy to plan a joint ceremony and reception. After a short list of favorite bands, discuss receiving options with the consultants of each before making a final decision.

Wedding dress.

Dress is up to you. Blue jeans and T-shirts, costumes, traditional wedding dress and couture, all options -. Vegas has several shopping malls with department stores accounted for almost all - as well as boutiques, where you can buy or rent dresses and tuxedos. We rented a suit for Tim and I took my clothes (bought on sale at Dillards St. Louis, first left). If you are looking to buy, check out the commercial section of Las Vegas. Com

Hair, makeup and nails.

Like all weddings, is> Las Vegas, there are many options for beauty. Program someone entered the room, go to book time in one of the many spas, or in a salon. Hair, makeup and nails have been recommended in an independent living room of our chapel. The owner of the salon provided curb service - get me my order and return to the hotel after me. Meanwhile, Tim has a manicure in the spa. You can ask for advice, as I did, or Google Las Vegas hair and make-upoptions.

Webcast.

What happens after take-off to Las Vegas, but his family was actually a wedding of ideas (in addition to a general feeling of discomfort, in turn)? You can virtually through a Webcast. Little Chapel of the Flowers (where Tim and I were married) was one of the few groups with a webcast in 2005, but are becoming more common. My family in St. Louis has a chat room so you can all watch the ceremony together, each from theirReal Estate! Pretty cool.

Everything else.

The consultant provided by the group can usually help with the flowers, cakes, photography, and everything you can imagine. They are often part of the package, but can also be ordered à la carte. If you prefer to choose their provider, take a look at one of the official websites of Las Vegas as I mentioned before or a Google search for the term (along with "Las Vegas"), and you will discover manyOptions.

Tip.

If you're on top that make a great day expected - the officiant, wedding coordinator, photographer, driver, imitator, cameraman, salon services, etc. Our chapel has concrete proposals for each, as well as some of the service.

If you plan to go to Vegas route, I say do it and live your own unique version of a perfect wedding.
